Coronavirus Diary Day 279: December 16, 2020

Vaccine is Here, Electoral College Voted, and… I Published a Thing

Two days ago, with great fanfare, America operation-warp-sped Coronavirus vaccines to frontline workers and password protected darkweb speakeasies all around the country. The world rejoiced.

The Electoral College weighed in on who should be the next President of the USA. They chose Joe Biden. Again, the world rejoiced.

Also two days ago, my youngest son turned 19.

But, more happened! My short story chapbook, Guns of the Borough became available for preorder, and it will be published and distributed on December 18. That’s less than 2 days from now.

That means, in less than 2 days, you will have the opportunity to read my fiction *and invade my soul*. If you’re a writer, you know what I mean. You guys, it’s scary.

I want to share this news to my social media accounts. But, do I?

Here’s what I’ve decided. Since nonnayall leave comments here (except for The Bestie, of course), I’ll assume I’ve been blogging to a virtual black hole for the past 6 years. My posts are visited by Russian Bots on the regular, but if actual humans stumble across it, it’s by sheer mistake. So, without fear of exposure or vulnerabilities or judgement, and with that being said:

Guns of the Borough is available for purchase at the low, low price of $3.99 starting December 18 (which is practically tomorrow) on all the platforms, including:

Amazon: Guns of the Borough

Barnes and Noble: Guns of the Borough

If you’ll so indulge me, check it out. If you’re reading queue is full and you’d prefer to pick it up after COVID-19 has been eradicated (any day now!), I’m cool with that, too. But could you do me a favor, and leave a comment on this blog post? Because rn, I’m totally willing to conversate with the Russian Bots, and that’s not a good look for me.

But rly, comments are appreciated. I feel so… alone. Don’t you?
